The Government of Québec is active on the Canadian intergovernmental scene.
This involves participating in multilateral conferences bringing together representatives from federal, provincial and territorial governments, or from provincial and territorial governments only. Québec also maintains bilateral relations with the federal government and with provincial and territorial governments, in the means of reaching agreements of many kinds with them on any topic.
Intergovernmental forums of ministers and deputy ministers in different areas of government activity meet regularly to discuss topics of mutual interest. The premiers of the provinces and territories also meeting regularly and, on an ad hoc basis, with their federal counterpart.
